Only a 6 minutes drive to the rural town of Matamata where there are cafes, restaurants, bars and shops.

Within easy driving distance to Rotorua (45 mins), Tauranga, Mount Maunganui on the east coast (45 mins), Waitomo Caves (1hr 20 mins).
