One of New Zealand’s richest Pro-Am tournaments, The Brian Perry Classic is held annually in the Hamilton & Waikato region - home to a number of top golf courses and some of the country’s elite golfers.
Watch the country’s finest professionals and amateurs battle it out on Friday 27th March 2015 on the lush fairways and manicured greens of St Andrews Golf Course in Hamilton.
The Brian Perry Classic will attract some of Australasia’s top golfers and fans will be able to watch it all unfold at one of the region’s premier courses. 2015 will follow suit from the 2014 event, as a one day Pro-Am Golf Tournament as opposed to the two day tournaments seen in previous years.
The 2015 tournament will see the teams of three amateurs paired with one professional and one junior golfer, with the best three stableford points per hole contributing to the teams score. There will also be more than $4,000 worth of scholarships awarded to some of New Zealand’s top junior golfers.
The tournament is designed to be accessible to the community, golfers, and spectators alike and with previous years seeing the likes of New Zealand great Sir Bob Charles teeing off among the field, the 2015 line-up will no doubt be just as impressive.
