New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, Tourism New Zealand, and the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, partnering with TIA, are working to identify the level of demand and supply of new hotels and possible locations. New Zealand is experiencing significant growth in tourism and MBIE’s forecast of visitor arrivals suggests this trend may continue, with annual international visitor arrivals expected to increase by 630,000 by 2020.
