Think Great Gatsby: pack a picnic and dress in your best 1920's costume and head along to the Rogers Rose Garden for a fun filled day. Events include live entertainment, vintage car displays, swing dancing lessons, a pamper parlour and more. Prizes for the best dress children, adults, groups and Katherine Mansfield look-alike will also be up for grabs.
A workshop will also be held from 11am - 1pm featuring food, fashion and gardens of the 1920's.
This great community event celebrates the fictional garden in Katherine Mansfield’s ‘The Garden Party’ set in 1922 and is a free event with donations welcome to raise funds for the proposed Mansfield Garden to be developed at Hamilton Gardens.
