Tokoroa Day Night Thriller Plus TOK 100 & 50

The 2018 Tokoroa Day Night Thriller returns to the Cougar Mountain Bike Park in Tokoroa on Saturday 22nd September.

This key mountain biking event will see individuals and teams of all levels take to the cougar mountain bike course, which offers a mix of forestry roads, single trails, uphill, downhill and plenty of berms – all set amongst a mature pine forest.

The event includes a few additions for 2018 including the TOK100 and TOK50, to run in conjunction with the Day Night Thriller.

The Day Night Thriller entrants will ride a 8km 20-30minute circuit, completing as many laps as they can within the timeframe. The 12-hour event will kick off at 10am and run through until 10pm, for solo riders and teams of 2-5 people; The six-hour event starts at 10am and runs through to 4pm, for solo riders and teams of 2-4 people, and the three-hour event starts at 1pm and goes through to 4pm, for solo riders only.

The new TOK 100 and TOK 50 rides will see entrants complete a unique 17km track which is made up of sections of the Day Night Thriller trail along with new trails purpose built for the event. The TOK 100 riders will need to complete 6 laps, starting from 8:30am, whilst the TOK 50 riders will be completing 3 laps starting at 10:15am.

With a great event atmosphere, and great prizes up for grabs, the Tokoroa Day Night Thriller is an event not to be missed.
