The varied track takes in native bush, open grassy areas, waterfalls and stream crossings. Tui, kereru, pheasants and quail can often be seen from the track and night riders may spot glowworms.
The 10km track starts and ends in Te Aroha Hot Springs Domain by the Mokena Geyser, the world’s only hot water soda geyser. The domain also offers picnic tables and barbeque facilities, and is home to the town’s thermal spas – great for relaxing after a ride.
