Waitomo Trail Run

The Waitomo Trail Run returns to the Hamilton & Waikato region, taking place in the iconic Waitomo Caves area on Saturday 29th April.

With a variety of courses to choose from, participants will walk/run past glowworms and karst landscapes, through native bush and natural tunnels plus much more on this unique trail running event.

Competitors can choose from 6km, 11km, 22km and 36km options, with the longest distance starting at the Mangapohue Natural Bridge and all events finishing at the world-famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves Visitor Centre.

Plus to make the event even more unique, the 36km, 22km and 6km courses all include an underground section.

The event is also open to families and children, with participants encouraged to spend some time exploring the Waitomo Caves top attractions while in the area.
